Albergaccio is an ancient historical palace, built in the Middle Ages and used as a prison, maintaining during the centuries the original ancient name. It is situated in the country, close to the historical centre (only 3 Km. from the city walls).It has been recently and completely restored, creating five characteristic apartments, leaving and restoring the original and very nice ceilings with beamed wood, ancient bricks,arches, and wrought iron.

All the apartments are very bright and romantic, some particularly in their old characteristics. Albergaccio offers his guests a relaxing, quite and very comfortable holiday, joining the nearness to the centre with the pleasure to spend time in Siena countryside. A private free parking and open spaces in the garden will be at disposal of guests. To satisfy all the preferencies, it's possible to choose one of these accommodation in two different structures: the b&b if you are looking for a single or double nice room with particular medieval characterictics, bright, refined with care with cotto floors and parquet; the holiday homes apartments , completely new, bright and very confortable, from one to five people, with kitchen, living room, and bathroom with shower.

L'Albergaccio is only 3 Km far from the historical centre, linked to the heart of the city by minibus "Pollicino"(bus stop close to l'Albergaccio). It leaves every 15 minutes, and arrives at the Dome or close to Piazza del Campo in 5-10 minutes).
